The Wine

Château Figeac was awarded Premier Grand Cru Classé A status in 2022. It is situated on a unique terroir of gravelly soil. Unlike many Right Bank neighbours, Château Figeac uses mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in its blend, complemented by just around 30% of Merlot. It is often described to be similar in style to "Médoc" wines. The 2025 vintage promises to be absolutely extraordinary.
