The Wine
Château Haut‑Brion is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious wineries. It holds Premier Grand Cru Classé status from the 1855 classification and is also recognised under the Cru Classé de Graves designation. Today the estate is run by Prince Robert of Luxembourg and is famed for its unique terroir of gravelly soils that retain heat and impart distinctive character to the wines. I admire this wine for its remarkable structure and longevity.
